This five day adventure offers you not one, but two gorilla treks. This is an active adventure for those who love nature, the outdoors and of course gorillas!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Entebbe

Meals: L D

On arrival at the Entebbe International airport you will be met and transferred to the Boma Guest house on the outskirts of town. Here in the tranquil gardens you can begin to acclimatise and enjoy a relaxing dinner by the pool before the real adventure begins in the morning.

Day 2 - Bwindi

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in time for your scheduled flight to the Kihihi airstrip where you will be met by a representative from Mahogany Springs and transferred to the lodge. Mahogany Spring is a great place to be based in Bwindi. Comfortable and with everything you need the staff aim to please and the atmosphere is extremely warm and inviting.This afternoon you get the chance to relax and unwind before your first trek in the morning.

Day 3 - Bwindi

This morning its an early start, be sure to have a big breakfast you will need it! The adventure begins as you drive to your allocated gorilla post. Here you will receive a detailed briefing on what to expect and meet your porter who will help you with your bags for the day. Then you set off in search of these amazing creatures.Your trek can last anywhere from one to six hours, but its all worth it as when you find your gorilla group you get to spend an hour with them. observing their incredible behavior before you leave them. The experience is often very humbling, and one you will never forget.Back at the lodge there is time for a massage and a good meal before you head to bed to get some well-needed rest before your second trek.

Day 4 - Bwindi

This morning its another early start as you make your way to a different gorilla post for your second gorilla trek. Perhaps you will be more relaxed today and will have time to look at the birds and animals of the rainforest as you hunt for gorillas.Back at the lodge after your trek its time to relax and enjoy your last meal there. Toast your trip and be sure to look back at all the highlights.

Day 5 - Entebbe - Depart

Meals: B

Today after breakfast you will be transferred back to the airstrip in time for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Boma Guest house where it all began. Here a day room has been booked for you to freshen up and relax before you are transferred to the airport in time for your flight back home.

After breakfast, transfer (1.5hrs) to Kihihi airstrip for scheduled flight 1055/1155hr to Entebbe. You will be met by
your driver to transfer you to the Boma Guest House for day room and lunch. Transfer to Entebbe Internatioinal
Airport for departure flight.

Expected group size:

All your tours are private. Meaning that only you and your party will occupy the vehicles. Trekking is done in groups.

Type of vehicles used:

4x4 Land Cruiser's are used throughout your safari.

Level of ability required:

Our Treks and Trips are desinged for all ages. We have had clients of 70 sucessfully trek the gorilla's.

Please note that Trekking permits are only avaviable to persons over the age of 15.
