Day 1 - EntebbeMeals:
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be met and transfered to the Boma guest house just minutes away from the airport. This serene setting provides an excellent chance to relax after a long journey and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 - Kibale National Forest Meals: B L D
This morning it's an early start as you drive the seven hours to the Kibale National Forest and the Kyaninga Lodge. Set in some of the most breathtaking countryside the lodge offers incredible accommodation and first class service. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool, and for the very adventurous walk down to the volcanic crystal clear lake below for an evening swim!

Day 3 - Kibale National ForestMeals: B L D
This morning it's the first of your primate adventure with a chimp trek in the forest. These amazing creatures are fast so the day can be quite tiring ... but it will all be worth it. Back at the lodge lunch is served, and this afteroon you can explore the crater lakes with a guide before dinner.

Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National ParkMeals: B L D
This morning you continue your adventure to the Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Mweya Safari Lodge. You will carry a picnic lunch so you can make the best of the game drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth. When you arrive you can enjoy an afternoon of relaxation by the pool before dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5 - Queen Elizabeth National ParkMeals: B L D
Today enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast and a relaxing morning. Enjoy the lodge facilities, which include a wonderful pool, before your afternoon cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This cruise is a great opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and some wonderful birdlife.

Day 6 - IshashaMeals: B L D
This morning we will drive to the Ishasha Wilderness section of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. This beautiful area is home to the famous tree-climbing lions and the stunning Ishasha Wilderness Camp. The camp is very well situated on the river banks, with beautiful accommodation and amazing service. A true bush experience. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner by the river.

Day 7 - BwindiMeals: B L D
Today you will make your way to the Bwindi Forest, home of the mountain gorrilas. En route, you will enjoy a picnic amidst some stunning scenery before arriving at Mahogany Springs Lodge in the late afternoon. The lodge is in a great location with excellent accommodation and service.

Day 8 - Bwindi ForestMeals: B L D
This morning it's an early start as you head out to see the gorillas. You will recieve a short trekking briefing before setting out to track your gorilla group. Depending on the group and the terrain, your trek can take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours. But it's all worth it in the end when you get to spend one magical hour with these gentle giants. Back at the Lodge, enjoy a hot bath and a good dinner before an early night as tomorrow is your second trek.

Day 9 - Bwindi ForestMeals: B L D
This morning you get a chance to track the gorillas for a second time. You will be allocated a different group and hopefully have a different experience. Second treks are a great opportunity to really enjoy the experince, put down your camera and just relax and observe the groups behaviors and the experince. Back at the lodge, dinner is served and maybe you'd like to induclge in a massage to ease those aching legs.

Day 10 - DepartMeals: B L
This morning you will be transfered to the local airstrip in time for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe where your adventure comes to an end. Before you leave, a dayroom has been booked at the Boma Guest House where you can freshen up and enjoy some lunch before being transfered back to the international airport in time for your flight home.

Expected group size:

All your tours are private. Meaning that only you and your party will occupy the vehicles. Trekking is done in groups.

Type of vehicles used:

4x4 Land Cruiser's are used throughout your safari.

Level of ability required:

Our Treks and Trips are desinged for all ages. We have had clients of 70 sucessfully trek the gorilla's.

Please note that Trekking permits are only avaviableto persons over the age of 15.

Food and dietary information:

If you have any specific requirements please do let us know before you travel. We can then pass this information on to the Hotels and Lodges so they can cater for you.

Please consult your doctor on the vaccinations you may need to travel to Uganda or Rwanda.
